Italy: Florence

Explainers to follow soon...

ITaly: Pisa

There it is:

The only thing to see in Pisa - The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

We'd heard the town wasn't that great, but how could you be that close to Italy's most famous icon and not stop to see it?

Italy: Cinque Terre "Sights"

That art caught Patrick's eye... the kitty on top of the ambulanza caught my attention. This sign is for real:

You should have seen all the women trying to teeter around the cobblestones and hiking trails in high-heels! I don't think women in Italy own flats, let alone hiking boots.
Italy does have the best food, but Patrick emphatically says this was the best gelato sandwich he ever consumed:

And I think this is the cutest wine bar on the planet. "Terre Rosso," tucked in to a little alcove in Corniglia. The tiny wooden tables and chairs, set under a canopy of grapes with just enough candlelight to see your true love and not the prices on the menu!

Think this dog collar is too big?

This is what happens when you make a dog collar that's WAY too BIG!
I'm trying to branch out from small dogs and move in to the world of the big boys.
I think I overestimated!

My Best Girlz!

Ten years after college we still look good...
And despite the fact we don't see each other often enough... these girls are still the greatest of friends. Thanks for a fun weekend in the wine country. Next year... NYC, Baby!

I'm Obsessed!

So these are Softies.
I'm obsessed with making them.
I don't know what they are for,
but I spend lots of time sewing and stitching them.
I gave lots away for Christmas,
without taking pictures.
Guess that means I need to make more,
that way you can see how cute they are.

Back to Blogging!

Sorry for the hiatus.

I'm applying for graduate school at Columbia University right now and limiting how much time I screw around on the computer until I actually get all my essays done!

I've got many new pictures and projects to share, so check back.

In the meantime, check out the virtual card I made of Sigmund and I at "DesignerGals" ... I think we're both pretty adorable.
