Home Away From Home

A few more pictures of my new 'hood in NYC.
The parents and husband are a little worried about me moving to the big city. Hopefully these pictures taken by PDXPhotog will help squash a few of those fears. And don't worry... I won't be walking Sigmund late at night.

Again...
your street is nicer than ANY street i've lived on here. it's looking like you're living in a pretty safe, sweet neighborhood. are you right near the school? it looks like you're living somewhere closer to 96th. what street is that?
anyway, tell them they have zero worries. no reason to fear the unknown. and all that bad stuff that happens in the movies -- that's the movies.
i live in harlem a block from the cops.
suburbs scare me WAY more.

You have nothing to worry about! NYC is actually safer than most US cities. The only thing you should fear is leaving your cell phone in a taxi...
